Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, known as the OMSI, is a 220,000 square foot multi-story hands on museum on the Willamette River in Portland. It is one of the top science centers in the United States. This museum started in 1903 as odd artifacts displayed at Portland City Hall, now it includes a planetarium and a submarine in the Willamette, among other things. The Tyrannosaurs exhibit is interesting; did you know there were actually over 9 different Tyrannosaurs, each evolved for a specific environment? It is impossible to leave here with the same amount of knowledge you came with.
