Oceanside, Oregon is an unincorporated city located in Tillamook County. It gets its name from the houses built on the hillside, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Unlike Oceanside, California’s population in the hundreds of thousands, this Oceanside has a population of just a few hundred. And, unlike our Oceanside, there are agates to be found at this beach. Agates are minerals that form inside preexisting rocks, that have been weathered and eroded by the ocean. They are so much fun to hunt for.
