Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

Shibuya is one of 23 wards in Tokyo, it is also one of the most colorful and busy districts. It is the center for youth fashion and culture and is the focal point of Japanese fashion and trends. We arrived around dusk so we could see the lights at night. The train station exit as right next to Shibuya Crossing, the busiest intersection in the world. As many as 3,000 people cross at a time.

Where are these 3000 people crossing to? I love the photos in this post. They really paint the picture. Girls in cosplay. IKEA in bright lights. A British Pub. You all definitely enjoying it all. What memories!!!

    1. Lots of people are crossing for the pics! Ha. But also it’s just a popular shopping and restaurant area. Love the costumes here.

My spouse, Bill, and I stayed in Shinjuku for about 4 days, and I will never forget getting lost in that wildly busy city on a Saturday afternoon!
    Love your photos!

    1. Oh wow. We are staying outside the city. I knew we would want some peace and quiet after long days of site seeing. I know my audience (my travel partner). Ha.
