My favorite winery, Rancho Guejito, is trying something new. This Friday they opened their vineyard to popcorn eating, wine drinking movie goers, showing Hocus Pocus on an inflatable big screen. Typically Rancho Guejito is only opened to the public on Saturday and Sunday, their winery being a small portion of their 23,000 acre rancho which is primarily focused on raising cows for organic, grass-fed beef products. The movie viewing area was situated on a large lawn typically used for weddings (which I didn’t realize was there until today), surrounding by grape vines and avocado trees. They invited a live band to play while guests waited for the sun to set. Not only did they have wine, there was a food vendor and options to bring your own food. I hope everyone ate and drank enough to make this event a permanent addition to this lovely, small winery.

That looks like so much fun! Hocus Pocus is a family favorite here.
Ha! I just watched it for the first time last year! I was 13 when it came out, so I guess I wasn’t interested by then.
Love the image through the wine glass. You do find fun! The girls look like they loved it as much as the moms!
Yes, the girls did enjoy it. I am sure we will go again… maybe they will offer a Christmas film this year.
