620 foot Bridalveil Falls is impossible to miss as visitors enter Yosemite Valley. The path leads you right to the base, misting your face with pristine water. It is amazing to live in California, known for drought and lack of water, but to be surrounded by so much of it. Since Bridalveil Falls is fed by a nearby it flows year-round.
Yosemite Falls is located closer to center of the Valley. At 2,425 feet, it is the tallest waterfall in North America.
On our way out of the park we got a last glimpse of El Capitan before making our way out of the valley. It has been a short trip but a great introduction to the area. Yosemite National Park is gorgeous. So glad to add another stamp to the National Park Passport book, which we keep in the car, just in case.
