Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

Living in Oceanside we are used to seeing the coast, but the Redwood Coast is a different world, or at least it feels like a different state. The Redwood Coast is made of 175 miles of rugged coastline dotted with historic coastal towns. Mad River Beach County Park is a narrow stretch of land, sitting right in between Mad River and the beach it spills into. It is filled with sand dunes and coastal grasses and is void of people. While walking along the shore, playing in sea foam, we even found a piece of drift redwood. This beach in nothing like home.
