Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

Kelly Canyon Resort, located northeast of Idaho Falls, and within the Targhee National Forest, opened in 1957, almost a decade before a snowboard had been invented. At around 6,000 feet elevation, they get approximately 200 inches of annual snowfall.

Today we aren’t here for a ski but a sled. On the other side of the property is public land, so we donned our snow gear and got our sledding on, as we are wrapping up our trip/ time in the snow. We are all going to miss the cold weather, the snow gear, the dusted trees, the quiet hikes, and everything else that comes with it.
