Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

The Museum of Idaho’s current exhibit, Toytopia, focuses on the science and history of toys and games throughout the 20th century. Although the history and science is interesting, and I totally forgot about some games we played as children like Boardwalk, the best part of this exhibit is that it is interactive. A1 gravitated to the kitchen (as always).

The usual exhibits at the museum are still accessible like the human and environmental story of Idaho, if visitors need some quiet time.

My goodness, were you the only ones there? I love the gigantic etch-a-sketch and the Lite-brite. So many memories! I just blogged about my recently found Spirograph. It is amazing the toys we had as kids that get forgotten. What a fun place for all of you. Did you and Eric feel like children again? I so would have. Love, love, love this.
