Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

There are not any tide pools in Oceanside, but the jetty has some tide pool organisms that are worth exploring. Along our walk from the pier to the jetty were thousands of coquina clams, as well as some washed up larger marine organisms that were not fit to survive the brutal sea. Today we found a decent size hermit crab, as well as anemones, barnacles, mussels and chitons. Not bad for a casual look about so close to home.

EXCEPTIONAL PHOTOS. The blue anemone is wonderful. What a fun explore. Your stroll was a marine scavenger hunt. WOW. Neat stuff
