Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

Whenever the tide goes negative the Cerezo Bluffs tide pools beckon. There is only a short window of time when the loitering intertidal organisms, which are usually safe and sound under a blanket of water and seagrass, can be discovered. Today, the top shelf treasures were a sea hare and a brittle star. I was on the hunt for an octopus since my friend found one here just a few days ago. We had no luck but it will be at the top of our list the next time we come.

Okay, next time we are coming with you! The entire time we were at the tide pools, the last time, we kept saying we need Brady. We did find a Wavy Turban snail but the sea hare was elusive. Next time. I love these virtual visits with you.
