Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

Parking on Boundary Street in town immediately guides you into Yellowstone National Park. The roads into the park are closed during winter unless you have a guided tour in a snow vehicle but anyone can access the park by foot. There was a break in the weather so Raya and I donned snowshoes and pulled a 40 pound sled to Madison River. Although there weren’t any elk or bison in sight, the views of the snow covered trees and free flowing Madison River fed by geysers was satisfying enough.
