Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

The Carlsbad Strawberry Company has been in business since the 1950s, and they grow more than just strawberries. Each year, the family-owned, fourth generation produce company converts their grounds into a pumpkin patch where they cultivate a menagerie of pumpkin varieties, and invite customers to participate in their homegrown, haunted corn maze, tractor rides, bull rides, apple cannon shooting gallery, and bounce house. Our little pumpkin enjoyed herself, even without partaking in all of the extras. It is nice to support a local company that regularly donates to non-profits, local schools and churches, and families in need (since March they have donated 150,000 pounds of fresh produce to North County families).

I am so sad to miss this local landmark this year. Your images are wonderful. I love A1 toting her precious pumpkin pick about. So dang cute. What a perfect fall day. I love the history, the scenery and the subjects of this post. Missing you all!

    1. There is always next year! Or strawberries in spring. We haven’t gone to pick strawberries yet, but I want to.

Wonderful pictures! I especially like the shadows. Perfect for Halloween!

    1. Thank you! That’s what I was thinking. Artistic and a little unsettling. 😉
