One of the nice things about Idaho is that you can be in any number of states in a matter of hours. Today we drove two hours to Jackson, Wyoming. Jackson was discovered by trappers and mountain men soon after the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The town square has been the center of activity of the entire Jackson Hole Valley since the first commercial buildings were constructed here over 100 years ago. It is most famous for its four elk antler arches, one 2,000 antler arch located on each corner of the square. It is a fun place to window shop, look at art, eat, have some homemade ice cream, and admire century old architecture.
