Four Points Bulletin

Travels north, east, south, and west of our Oceanside home base.

It didn’t take too long before we returned to the tide pools. Twenty four hours to be exact. There is going to be a negative tide (when the tide level will be approximately one foot below the lowest average) in two weeks, but we won’t be here then. So A1 and I decided to return to the Cerezo Bluffs tide pools while the tide is still low, for more seeing, stroking, and splashing. We didn’t find any extra special tide pool organisms today, but we did find hermit crabs, which we did not see yesterday. Honestly, it doesn’t matter what we find, every day is a new adventure.

How wonderful to have such a treasure “close to home”. And how awesome to raise a child so aware of the importance and beauty of nature. You’re a good mom. AND you share it all with me. I love that.
